Ours is a great friendship. As with any friendship it has weathered many storms, but those are what have made it strong and more wonderful with time. There was the time we were in danger of losing our home and the stress level was enormous. We decided to take a walk and when we finished we had gone eleven miles. One of Tony's favorite sayings is "don't panic". It was on that walk that he got me to stop panicking and to stay the course we had laid out. We didn't lose our house, in fact it was really beautiful after we finished fixing it. This was one of those storms that made our friendship great.

We've taken many walks over the years and when the light is right and we cast a shadow on the road, Tony stops and takes a picture.

This is a study in shadows. It shows the many ways in which Tony takes a picture and then turns it into something very interesting to look at. It's a chronicle of our friendship and of so many great conversations and adventures we have had together. I am one very lucky art muse. I love you darling artist.
