One of the many benefits of being an artist's muse is that you become the subject in many of their works.
Tony often says "he has no style". That may be true but his creativity is endless. Just take a look at some of the portraits he has done of me.
Sometimes I do not realize that I am about to become the subject in one of this images. Tony likes it that way. The artist wants to see me as I really am at that particular moment in time.
It is amazing how he sometimes takes a very ordinary image and turns it into something that is very interesting to look at.
As you look at these images you can begin to see the influence of other artists on Tony's work. Picasso and cubism come to mind with this one.
It took some doing but I finally got Tony to print some of images of the Hobbitt and they are hanging in my office. It is was not narcissism. I knew it would turn into interesting gallery that shows the incredible range of his work and it has.
Sometimes when I suggest something to the artist (this is one of the perk's of being a muse) I get an "I'll think about it". That usually means he thinks it is a terrible idea. But on occasion several days or even weeks later I will get a "You were right Hobbitt". Music to my ears. Creating the
