About this image
We try to talk a walk everyday. This horse lives on the next road over. Normally when we pass the horse and her soul mate (we don't if they are boys or girls) he or she as the case may be have got their noses in the grass. We sometimes call to them hoping they will raise their heads. It has yet to work.
But one day as we passed the two horses started running toward the barn. Tony only caught one of them in motion. It makes a very interesting image.
Musing of a muse
The next thing on the calendar is a silent auction for the CASA. The National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association, together with its state and local members, support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.
We've donated several pictures and are attending the 2007 CASA's Tenth Annual Evening Under the Stars benefit in Old Town Manassas. It is a chance to do some good, get some exposure and pretend we are grownups.
What we are really gearing up for is a big exhibit in the Waddell Art Gallery on the NVCC Loudoun campus. The exhibit will run from October 22nd - November 16th. Stay tuned for more details.
