The Techno-Impressionist Museum has opened an annex. It is called
The art scene in Haymarket Virginia We are pleased to announce that Tony has two exhibits in Haymarket. One is in the Haymarket Town Hall and the other is in the BB&T branch in town. It's a small town and growing very fast.
The only art used to be related to civil war history. We decided we wanted to change that. We are helping to build the bridge between the old and the new. We’ve got everyone talking about techno-impressionism and enjoying art that is different.
It is interesting to be in the middle of two different worlds but for two old consultants like us it is easy. People are incredibly nice and very appreciative of any help. It makes it all so easy.
We've sent out a press release and taken an ad in the Bull Run Observer for the exhibit in Town Hall.
A few months ago I wrote that we were going to bring art to Haymarket and guess what we have. Tony is now a certified famous local artist. It's nice to set a goal and achieve it.
It's clear that having a muse is making a difference. The fact that we are both skilled knowledge workers also helps.
We're using technology as much as possible to sell the art and to gain recognition. We have always done this but it really seems to be making a difference this time. We are setting the bar pretty high for other artists.
We have bought two domain names www.haymarketart.com and www. pwcart.com. We'll be using them to put up catalogs of the exhibits we are doing.
It's interesting to note that we've stopped creating "web pages" and now create blogs like pages instead. If you go to
www.tlc-systems.com you will find that is has become
Art and the Zen of Design. TLC Systems has always been focused on design. Tony designs systems and I design processes. It is interesting to note that Tony approaches everything as a system including the
Techno-Impressionist art movement. The original TLC Systems site was dull and never generated much traffic. We are now getting several hundred hits a day.
We are always trying new things in all aspects of our lives. It makes life interesting and you never know what new door may open.
I am going to be on a committee for an charity art show event in Reston and so we will be taking our art beyond Haymarket to a different part of northern Virginia.
Stay tuned. Next big step is to open Tony's studio and the gallery we have created here in our home officially to the public. That will be followed by designing a system and a process for buying Tony's art at the
Techno-Impressionist Museum.
