About this image
This is a view of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. It is Tony being a snap shooter. His eyes are everywhere looking for that interesting image to capture. While the art in this museum is fabulous it's images like this one that make it an even more interesting place for Tony to visit.
Musings of a muse
I've got museums on the brain and that is why I chose this image for today's post. Some people might say how can you have a museum with only one artist. It's been an on-line museum for a very long time. It needs a physical presence. The on-line museum is accessible from anywhere in the world but you have to see the prints to really understand and enjoy
Tony Karp and
Techno-Impressionism. Andy Warhol has his own museum. So its really not a new idea. In the future artists will have a museum, it will be their portfolio. The difference is museum will exist before they become world famous. It will be one of the things they use to increase their visibility.
The entire
Techno-Impressionist Museum is Tony Karp's largest work to date. Tony refers to this as Art Museum 2.0. You are watching a 21st century muse and her artist use technology to enhance his reputation. The nice thing is the page is blank and we are taking readily available technology and using it as a marketing tool.
Tony is very prolific artist. We have many, many prints. The fact that he has no one style gives us a broad range of topic to choose from. We going to have one gallery in the museum dedicated to The skyscrapers of New York.
Here's a sample of the images that we'll display.
