About this image As the title suggests this image was taken at the Phillips Collection in Washington, DC. I saw this image for the first time a few days ago. It was one of those WOW moments for me. It is really striking. It is soft, has some very interesting shapes and I love the colors.
Next time you go to the Phillips Collection see if you can find where Tony was standing when he took the original image. It is a fairly ordinary scene.
He certainly has a unique vision and the artistry to take something that might not even catch your eye and create something that makes you stop and stare and want to explore. Some might call it eye candy.
Musings of a muse Saturday we spent the morning cleaning up Haymarket. It really isn't dirty especially compared to New York where we used to live.
We got to talking to the mayor and she has asked us to put up an exhibit in the Haymarket Town Hall. We are thrilled. It is all part of our effort to build an art scene in Prince William County and in the process we are making Tony more visible.
There are lots of artists here but they don't have a muse. We are making our own rules and it is really starting to work. The next big project is opening Tony's studio and gallery to the public.
