About this image
We were walking down the horse trail in Bull Run Regional Park, surrounded by trees. There were only a few leaves left and not much autumn color. Something in this image caught Tony's eye. Maybe the challenge was to make something interesting out of an ordinary picture of trees in the woods. It represents a very intense focus on his part. It is his ability to keep looking and looking, to keep molding and shaping until he can let you see what has been in his mind's eye.
Perhaps the most interesting factoid about this image is that when Tony was finished he realized that its very Art Nouveau. It might have been done by Alfons Mucha. But that is not what he started out to do. He just wanted to make a interesting piece of art that you would enjoy looking at. He has met his goal.
