This is the view I see when I'm in the pool. It's open from early May to early October. That's me in the left, lower corner. When we tell people we moved hear from New York they say how could you make such a big change. One picture is worth a thousand words.
It's beautiful wherever you look and oh so peaceful and quiet. The butterflies are starting to show up and we've even seen a few humming birds. For a kid that grew up surrounded by cement, who got up not knowing if the sun was actually shinning (the buildings can hide it) this really is heaven.
Tony and I are very thankful that we been given this chance to be close to nature and to enjoy it.
For those who are curious this is a panorama. It's several images knitted together. The vista really is that big. Tony never tires of this view. It's always different.
I can also watch the sunset from here as well. With all my rootin, tootin, high falutin so called technical knowledge I never realized that the sunset moves across the sky and happens in different places at different times of the year.
There is no end to what the city kid can learn about the country. She's so grateful that she has been given this chance.
