I have a very dear friend who is battling cancer. She does not want me to mention her by name. We have been friends for more than 35 years. We knew each other before our children were born.
I talk with her almost every day. I try hard to make her laugh. We are many miles apart. Together we have constructed a virtual pocket that makes us feel that we are close enough to touch. We hold hands in the pocket and I tell her to take strength from me when she needs a little extra. When she is facing a scary moment she puts her hand in the pocket and feels as though I am there with her. We laugh at how silly this whole idea is. Laughter is such good medicine.
She loves flowers and today's image is for her. When you look at this image think good thoughts and I know they will get to her.
