Here is a gorgeous image for your living room.
My thumb is only a little green. I managed to get some tulips to grow. I nudged Tony to take their picture. He produced this gorgeous image. Much more beautiful than the real thing. Much more dramatic.
Musings of a muse
I watched
An Inconvenient Truth last night. It sent a chill down my spine. So few people seem to care. I organized an Earth Day celebration here in Haymarket. I was hoping to raise awareness in this community where I live. But everyone here is fat dumb and happy. It hasn't really touched them yet. But clearly it is coming.
It could be that one day that Tony's images are a record of what the world used to be like. I used to read history and wonder how the bad things I was reading about were allowed to happen. Well now I know. People are oblivious to what is happening. They can't or don't want to see. Most people don't want to get involved. The idea that they could actually change what is happening must seem nuts to them.
And so I will continue to encourage and support my artist as he creates his wonderful art from the beautiful things he sees before his eyes when he looks outside, when we go for our walks.
