When is a line not a lineAbout this image This image started out as a picture of the new staircase in the Phillips Collection. When we go to a museum Tony not only enjoys and studies the art, he also looks at the building and into the corners and nooks and crevices. He is looking for something interesting. This is an abstract piece of
Techno-Impressionist art.
I could tell you to consider the use of positive and negative space and the juxtaposition of the elements to form a neo-classic, post modernism Forbin arrange. See how well my buzzword generator is working today.

Musings of a muse I am a manic depressive with a cleaning compulsion. I love order. When my son was little I used to line up the match box cars (they made a wonderful bribe so he had lots of them) by color, by size, and by function).
I have not posted for a while so I did a whole bunch one right after the other. These latest musings contain works Tony has just completed.
This one that was posted earlier is real eye candy. Now I am on a mission to get Tony to make prints of these newly minted works. Sometimes it is months before he prints something. The printed image may actually be different than this one. He will make lots of test prints and lay them out on the table. He'll ask me which one I like best. Sometimes he agrees with my choice and sometimes he will tell me why another one is better. He'll say that other one does a better job of bringing your eye to where I want the viewer to focus. The dialog has helped him make up his mind. It is a very muse like thing to do.
