When Tony first started
Techno-Impressionism he presented it as though it was a joke. Nobody would take it seriously anyway. That was more than 10 years ago.
Together we have made it into a real thing. Tony is a real artist and real people give him real money for his prints. It has been a challenge but it has been fun and interesting as well. With this baby Tony was the one that gave birth. But just like with our real child we have both raised it. We are very proud of all our children.
As the world's foremost Techno-Impressionist artist Tony is known for his interchangeable use of traditional media, and of computer-based tools that behave like real media. In each case, the medium is chosen for its particular characteristics in rendering the image Tony had visualized.
In some cases, traditional and computer-based media are used in the same work.
He switches back and forth between different media and is able to transfer the lessons and experiences of one medium to another.
Tony created several imaginary artists to be his voice. Henri de Toulouse LaTech was one of them. So here is a quote from Henri and what he said is still true.
The Techno-Impressionists knew about computers, they used computers,
but they did not become 'Digital Artists'. Henri de Toulouse LaTech
