Last night Tony and I were talking and I said I feel as though I am dealing with another turning point in my life. I have decided my new métier is making Techno-Impressionism and Tony Karp world famous. That is a lot different than working as a consultant for Fortune 100 clients. Tony has been asking me for years to put all my energy into selling his art.
As an incentive he wrote the software I am using to create and generate this blog. It is very easy. We have much more control than we would if we used say WordPress and it is a lot easier. I see this blog as one of my marketing tools. Time will tell.
Last night we added an interesting feature. I now have the ability to change the color of the banner on each post in my blog. We are going to use color as a way of categorizing the different posts. Go back a few posts and see the different colors. We are not quite sure how this will turn out so stay turned.
This is a second turning point for me. I was a dancer on Broadway a long time ago and when I stopped dancing after 20 years it was supposed to be a turning point. A huge transition. It wasn't. I just walked away because it was time and I never looked back. I loved to dance and will always cherish my days as a ballet student and my career as a chorus girl on Broadway. Now I just dance in my head.
Tony made a great point. He said "the difference between then and now is that now you are leaving a trail". Perhaps one day my granddaughter will come and read my blog and understand a little bit about her grandmother who loves her with a most special and magical love that only a grandma can give.
