The Art of Techno-Impressionism This image caught my eye today because it has changed since the last time I saw it. It is becoming more electric, more surreal. Something made Tony go back to this image and he has been working on it.
All of Tony Karp's art are works in progress. He frequently goes back. Sometimes it happens because he gets a new piece of equipment (like the 30" monitor) or a new piece of software. The larger screen allows him to see things he didn't see before or to put two large images side and side and compare the result of a change. When he gets a new piece of software he will bring up an image he likes and play with it using the new tool. Sometimes he gets are result that he likes and he saves it. A new version is now available.
This is one of the reasons that he does not do editions.
Today, Tony made a change to the software that publishes this blog. We just put up the
the catalog of the exhibit in bank in Haymarket, Virginia and he realized it needed work. We are now closer to the catalog pages we will create when we start to sell his work from the
Techno-Impressionist Museum site. We're on a roll now
