About this image
That's Tony and me on one of our walks. We're casting a shadow and Tony stops and says come closer. I tilt my head in so our shadows touch. If you stare at the image for a while it starts to look like we are giants who are looking out over the world. If you look through some of the other posts in this blog you'll see other images of our shadow. This one is very gentle, very delicate and the palette is soft.
And yes we are that close. We often marvel that we have been together for so long. We're very lucky because we still love each other and are more than even best friends. We are truly two peas in a pod.
Musings of a muse
It has been an incredible year for this muse and her artist. We did five shows. It was a lot of work but well worth it. We got two reviews and we really have brought art to Haymarket.
Here is list of all the shows:
Tony Karp exhibits art at the Haymarket Town Hall
Tony Karp Exhibits at the BB&T Haymarket branch
The artist's gallery - The front entrance way
The Waddell Art Gallery
Tony Karp exhibits at the Bull Run Regional Library
And in between the shows we did three silent auctions for:
- The Red Cross
- CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
- AHEAD INC (Adventures in Health, Education, and Agricultural Development)
It's time for the muse to make another list. Stay tuned!
