Happy Birthday Tony Karp. You are the love of my life, best friend, and artist extraordinaire.
This is a special birthday for you. You may be getting older, but you are getting better. It is very exciting to watch you working on an electronic book of your art. From our talks about what an electronic art book should be, I can see that you view it as a system. Your focus on the user interface and what the user experience should be like when reading an electronic art book will result in something spectacular. (I'm channeling the Apple marketing strategy here. Creating pent-up demand.)
Once again as you did in 1996 when you first created the first iteration of the
Techno-Impressionist Museum you are leading the way in terms of how an artist can display his work and reach people all over the world.
The
Techno-Impressionist Journal where you published an image every day for a year is masterful.
I look forward to you writing about the things you are observing about electronic publishing of art books on your blog
Art and the Zen of Design. On this your birthday, revel in your accomplishments, especially on becoming an artist - an artist like no other. Be most proud that you are still inventing, still designing, still pushing the envelope.
I love you with all my heart.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Forever your Hobbitt and muse.
