About this image
This is Excissa. We used to call her "Face from the palace". She is Tony Karp's virtual muse and I am his real life muse. She lived many, many years ago and probably was an artist's muse way back then. She along with St. Saint Yrieix embody
Techno-Impressionism.
One is a blaze of color the other black and white.
I am a little jealous of her because she doesn't age and will be beautiful and young forever. But on the other hand she has no voice, cannot blog and can't be held by Tony. I think I have the better deal. She is very powerful even though she is a black and white image. She currently graces all our ads. She displays beautifully in the print ads and as you can see she is equally lovely on-line. You can see her
here in our latest ad. When people see her here in northern Virginia we what then to also think
Tony Karp.
Tony found her at the Exploratorium in San Francisco.
Musings of a muse
We found the name Excissa one day while playing with a tool that helps you search for domain names and tells you if they are taken or not. Something struck us about the domain name
Excissa and so we bought it. Perhaps one day Excissa will have her own blog or she may become the Marketing Director for the Techno-Impressionist Museum Store. I will have to talk with her and she what she has in mind. Yes this is crazy talk but it is perfectly normal for someone like me who is really crazy and proud of it.
