I've been busy as Tony's co-creator on his interactive art books. (He says I am like his Steve Jobs pushing for perfection at all costs, sometimes going too far. Sorry sweet artist.) It's absolutely fascinating. Tony is amazing, a real genius. He has built a whole system in Access that either does things InDesign can't do or that enhances features it has that don't do what Tony wants them to it. He is still a master at designing and building computer systems.
He's named the system
Book Architect. It's a brilliant design and gives Tony total control over all aspects of the books. He's dedicating
Book Architect to our friend Ben Rose. Ben was a famous photographer. We often talk about how Ben would have used Book Architect. We miss Ben very much. He was a warm and wonderful person. He was like a father to us. In more than 30 years we have never come across anyone as good, or kind, or giving as Ben Rose.
We've opened a bookstore in the
Techno-Impressionist Museum. Our first interactive art book is free.
Download it now. We grew butterflies again this year. Rather I should say the butterflies laid their eggs in a plant they seem to like. We watched this one just after it emerged from it's cocoon. It moved toward the warmth of the sun and slowing made its way up the fence post. One of it's wings is not fully formed and it took it several days before it could fly. We named him Butter Book. He may star in a book Tony is thinking of doing.
