About this image Before I could write about this image, I had to get the buzz word generator out of the closet. We decided to call this technique Square-ism. Tony said it was actually transformism that could also be described as two-dimensional cubism. Confused, some am I.
You are really looking at a Renoir. Tony got the image from one of the major museum's website. He just felt like playing the last few days and this is the result. If you stand way back you can see the face in the middle. Tony thinks Renoir may have been a secret Techno-Impressionist.
This is another one of the images where the print will be very interesting. I kept asking him what made the different colors and he said it all comes from the original painting.
Musings of a muse The first time we went to Paris and I stood in room full of Renoirs' I cried. I'd been reading about the Impressionist and to be in Paris and to be surrounded by their work was a moment I will never ever forget.
These are masters that influence both of us. It's why Tony called his art movement Techno-Impressionism. We truly believe if these great masters were alive today, they would be using current technology to take their art in new directions. It is hard to image that the Impressionists had to fight so long and so hard for recognition. They are our inspiration.
