About this image
I have always liked this picture. It was taken in a lovely little restaurant in Roslyn, New York. We were about to leave when they told everyone they had to stay inside for a few minutes because they were shooting a movie. If that had not happened, Tony would probably have never taken this picture.
Techno-Impressionism was in it's early stages.

AHEAD a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, provides hands-on, people-to-people assistance to under served rural communities to combat malnutrition, disease, illiteracy, poverty, technological deprivation and other conditions that have an adverse impact on the health and welfare of people. The goals of the organization are: (1) to reduce and eliminate disease and premature death; (2) to cultivate and advance healthy living; and, (3) to foster sustainable environmental activity. For more than 20 years AHEAD has succeeded in bringing life-sustaining programs to the most remote, impoverished and resource-scarce areas of Africa. The organization has made it a priority to reach these remote areas that are often inaccessible due to lack of roads and treacherous natural conditions. AHEAD has been honored with numerous awards and recognitions over the years for its exceptional work providing health services to more than I million infants and children.
Tony and I were so inspired by Dr. Irving Williams and Mrs. Elvira Williams who are the heart and sole of AHEAD that we got involved in this benefit.
So please come by enjoy the art extravaganza in which 12 other artists are participating. There will also be a wine tasting. If you don't see anything you want to buy then come and make a donation to AHEAD. You can in fact make the difference in a child's life.
