About this image The Myers-Briggs typological approach to personality classifies me as an empath. In plain words, a feeling person. This may part of the reason why I connect so strongly with Van Gogh. When I stand in front of one of his paintings I sense him in his work and that makes the viewing experience even more powerful.
I choose this very early Tony Karp because it has emotion in it. It reflects how I feel today. It is beautiful outside and things are going well.
When Tony began drawing using the computer what encouraged me and therefore helped me to encourage him, was that his simple small images showed emotion. I knew technique and confidence would come and they have.
Here's one that shows technique, confidence and feelings. Musings of a muse It is easy for me to connect with Tony Karp the artist, we love each other, we had a child together and we experience the joy of having been together for almost four decades.
We are very, very busy with our art and the work we do to support the art. Our next big project is to have an official opening of the
Techno-Impressionist Studio.. (We are having a naming convention and need to vote on what the names should be.) Here are names in the running:
Techno-Impressionist - leaves it wide open for it to be anything we want it to be in the future.Techno-Impressionist Museum - a bit pretentious. We do have the Techno-Impressionist Museum on the web. It is listed as a museum in many places.Techno-Impressionist Gallery - this might seem like we are competing with other galleries who might give use a show.Techno-Impressionist Studio - we really are opening up the studio. There is an interesting editorial in the Boston Globe today that explains exactly why we are doing this. These are not enough places for artists to exhibitFeel free to vote.
