Perhaps we will pour two glasses tonight and wish each other Happy Anniversary. I told you we celebrate these things for days on end. The official day is Tuesday, the 24th.

Musings of a muse It is encouraging that people are being to wake up about Global Warming. Here is an excerpt from an email my niece Jessica sent out.

Have you heard?

It is "unequivocal" that global warming is occurring and it is at least 90% certain humans are responsible.

It predicts temperatures will rise 3.2 to 7.2 degrees Fahrenheit by 2100 and that sea level would rise 7 to 23 inches, perhaps more.

This increase in sea level would force the relocation of 300 million people worldwide. Models show half of Florida disappearing under water.

The U.S. is the single largest contributor to global warming, producing 25% of the world's CO2 emissions although it accounts for just 4.5% of its population.

Warming causes wide changes in regional climates (85-degree Januarys and killer tornadoes are not a fluke).

The only way to solve the climate crisis is to drastically reduce CO2 emissions, but our government still refuses to impose emissions caps.

Without ALL OF US acting together and spreading the word, life-altering planetary changes will occur in our children’s lifetime.
