After 40 years you have something way beyond love. And you don't need a special day to say I love you Tony Karp.

We've always been friends, it's the foundation of our relationship. But at some point we began to become one. Yesterday Tony was putting together a Lego with the person he loves more than anything in the world, our little granddaughter. And as I sat there and watched them I felt his sheer joy because he and I are one.

So why, you ask, do I love this guy. Well it's things like posting 25 random things about me on Art and the Zen of Design with his usual sense of humor and fantastic creativity. It got rave reviews on my Facebook profile. He's always doing things like that for me.

So on this Valentine's Day I realize how incredibly lucky I am to be one with a sweet, loving, caring, tender genius my artist Tony Karp.
