This morning I told Tony (he's my artist, I am his muse) I was going to write about how I thought his starting with a photo and then using virtual media to create his art gave him infinite possibilities.
Tony pointed out that he can only shoot what is in front of him while traditional artists using real media have infinite possibilities because they don't have to have a specific object in front of them. My counter to that is that once the image is committed to the canvas the traditional artists possibilities become limited by the real media they are working in.
Once Tony can begin to mold the image using his virtual media his possibilities are infinite, limited only by his imagination and patience.
The thing is as you look around you your eyes are bombarded with so many images that many of them don't really register. The photo captures a moment in time. In that moment there are actually many, many images.
Today's images were created while watching the sunset through the curtains as we were playing with our beautiful granddaughter. Something in them caught Tony's imagination and he's started to play. He's not finished, but you never know. I thought you would enjoy them. These may continue to evolve.
