It looks like a pot of gold, but that's me in the swimming pool. The lighting that nature provides here in Virginia is outstanding.
Tony has this amazing ability to take what nature provides and to make an extraordinary image out of it. The pool will be open in about a month. I can't wait.
We are beginning to making art a more popular subject here in Northern Virginia. More people seem to be talking about it. There are only a few local galleries and all the local museums are dedicated to civil war history. This is where many famous battles where fought but we need a balance. The museums around here should contain some art.
So speaking of war, I guess back during the civil war era war was a hot topic. People actually came to the battlefields near here from DC to watch the war. After several of them were killed watching they stopped coming.
Here we are again with war as a hot topic. It is popular to be mad at the MoveOn members (I am one of them and I voted to say yes). My question is what have any of those people criticizing people like me done to stop the war.
Did they:
March in New York in both the protests when we tried to stop the war.
Organize a petition and deliver to their congress person in an effort to stop the war
Did they hold a candle light vigil that Sunday night along with literally millions of people around the world, who pleaded with the powers that be to give peace a chance.
Work in the MoveOn campaign that got more than a million people to call congress in an effort to stop the war.I could go on but why bother. We finally have some progress. Too bad some people don't understand the power of positive thought and encouragement for the people who really try to change things. A thank you would be such a nice thing. So let me say it for them.
THANK YOU to everyone who has worked and continues to work on stopping this war
